That was interesting
So, I talked to my former boss about the gaming I did this weekend. He was interested in the mechanics of the gaming, and I ended up talking about the social dynamics of why I haven't been in gaming conventions for 13 years and what I think about people's reactions to that.

I, of course, disclaim it with the fact that it's just a small piece of the truth, but the next step is to solve the things that are happening, which, to be honest, doesn't interest me enough to do the things I'd need to do.

Which has consequences of its own, but I knew that already.

Doing the things to fix the perception gap would have one outcome, not doing them has a different one. Either outcome is equivalent to consequences in the value neutral sense.
